Recent Happenings đ
Greetings, Titans! Welcome aboard to the 20th masterpiece written by yours truly, the brilliance writing team. Before we set sail into the vast sea of Ano news, huge thanks to every sailor who has journeyed with us through the previous editions! Without further ado, Iâm one of your captains, Talkair, and let's dive right in.
Hello Titans! Iâm DragonZftw and Iâll be covering the Recent Happenings, and since its the 20th volume of Titans Times, I wanted to commemorate this volume for such, as well as talk about the usual shenanigans that have happened since the previous volume. Anyway, without a further ado, here come the promotions!
For the Warlocks, weâve had plenty of promotions happening as per usual, but here they are (as always, in no particular order): BlanKzy, drakraiwoman, Beatq, Ral_M, Bright_Man, NachoNik, _HalfDollar, mocharuu, Nuruko, minty139, ArcuCresyn, FEN12_, Asceria, ConcaveTriangle, Smmychoise, Stephen14414, DragonZftw (yes thatâs me), alla6, and skisu!
In terms of Artificers, weâve got KevinBoiii, GrandpaGnome, SemiBat, fatopman, and minty139!
Last but not least thanks to his contributions (as well as releasing Valor Lite (the codename that was mentioned in the previous volume)), C0rupted has officially become a Titan
That wraps up the rounds of promotions, now letâs talk about Wynncraft in general!
Wardrobe Wonders (2.1.3)
The latest update has officially come in the form of Wardrobe Wonders. This update has introduced Lootrun Trials, a new in-game store with the Hero+ rank, reworks to cosmetics as well as even pets, a new account management dashboard for your profile, new aspects, and of course - a Trickster rework!
In-Game Store (2.1.3)
If youâve had gold coins before they were unobtainable, you would no longer be able to access the gold coin shop (/gc), as that has now been retired. However, the new in-game store allows you to purchase more things with Silverbull shares, which now includes Ranks. You can also preview cosmetics as well, such as hats and other things, as well as a new use menu improvement. This is done by accessing the in-game shop.
Hero+
Essentially the middle ground between Hero and Champion, this rank is a budget option for those who want to have some Champion rank benefits, but donât want to pay a large amount of money for such.
Pet Revamp
Most of the pets didnât just get a remodel, they also got a revamp! Non-ranked players can now use pet abilities up to lvl 30, and how is that possible? The pet level cap (which was 20 for Hero ranks and below) has been removed. Now, you can have max level pets, regardless of your rank!
Donât they look a bit cute? Not gonna lie, the Dusk Kantyr Calf (not pictured) is arguably the reason why I bought it before the update. Credit to Salted for this image.
Account Management
Since the forums was the only account software used for, well, your Wynncraft account, there were a lot of issues and so forth, but lo and behold - Wynncraft accounts are here!
Donât want people to see your HUICH character stuff? No problem! This allows you to hide certain stats from the API that you can choose to be Public (everyone), Guilds, Friends, or Private (only you). Credit to Salted.
Editor's note: this feature has been causing problems with data tracking for the bot. If you want your GXP, wars, raids, etc. tracked accurately, then you'd need to make your profile public.
Trickster Rework
The mischievous and cunning archetype, useful for crowd control as well as being able to âtrickâ the enemy has been overdue for a rework for a while, with the new addition including a new ability âThe Malicious Mockeryâ, followed by âNoxious Hazeâ, as well as âFoul Playâ
Fruma is ... Delayed?!
Unfortunately so. The Fruma expansion, or the Fruma Update, or 2.2 - has been delayed to early 2026 (I donât have anything for a month in specific, but 2025 is no longer going to have Fruma), with an update being released on the 3rd of November 2025. To summarise, the physical size of Fruma would be rather small, but it would be rather dense, but this wouldnât be the first time something like this has happened -
Salted has said that âWe have experience with a very similar situation 10 years ago. Gavel, our previous expansion, was not quite ready for the timeline we set, but we decided to get it out anyway. And although you always need to speed up a little bit near the end, we donât want to overdo it and make the same mistake with something that important again.â, which I wasnât aware of what the heck Wynncraft was a decade ago, but that aside, 2026 is going to have a much more likely chance of having the Fruma expansion.
The Festival of the Spirits 2025 Conclusion
As a result of the Wardrobe Wonders patch, there has also been some new cosmetics pertaining to the Festival of the Spirits, with 2025âs cosmetics now having their own category - Misty Spirits, much like Fiery Bonfire (for Bonfire Festival) as well, although the Festival of the Heroes and Blizzard crates may get a new edition for the next festivals soon! This also came with armour disguises (not to be confused with glints, which is where you can hide your armour or colour it, provided you have a Silverbull Subscription), much like the Bonfire Festival had, albeit the Spirits being well, spooky!
Most of the event was unchanged, the lost souls were akin to the last festival, as well as the Giant Deceptive Rat mystery still being around, although if you had a Gravediggerâs Spade from 2024, you couldâve used that instead of needing to get the 2025 edition from bounty souls. Regardless, I sure had a heck of a lot of fun trying out Banish the Beyond! Iâm probably biased towards Blizzard Brawl, but I suppose BtB has a soft spot for favourite festival minigames.
What's in the Cupboard?: ANO Cabinet Review
Spirits
Back to Talkair, letâs sail right through the waves of the cabinets, beginning with the iconic and spectacular Spirits Cabinet!
To start off, we had a whole cobblemon arc brought to us by Overfears, Aethei, and Mayor callluuum (not to be confused with Calluum). This was an SMP gathering with the mod cobblemon (a twist on pokemon), and as quoted by Overfears â... all titans valor members must take a break from their guild raiding and warring duties to take a nice luxurious vacation, and titan island is just the place!â (non members were also invited).
The first event that took place during this holiday get-away was a classic bingo! Specifically, a cobblemon bingo⌠yeah, you heard that right sailors, it was an attempt at preserving cobblemons in the wild by Aethei through⌠bingo.
Heres how it went: players had 24 hours to fill out as much as they could of a bingo sheet of their Cobblemons caught in Safari balls (those not in the Safari balls were, of course, not counted).
With much effort, the trainers were successful! Thank you trainers for the effort to support Aetheiâs kind hearted goal. The top 3 in the rescue operation in order, were: Kusuris, Micah - Kebabdoner (tied), and Haaqu.
Next in Cobblemon came the Ender Dragon Fight. With warriors gathering together in this tiny world, it was time to bring down the uneasy threat that was looming over the already not so peaceful Cobblemon SMP. With Mayor Callluuum (not to be confused with Calluum) having already scouted the area ahead, warriors braved and fought together to end her reign. However, even with this joint collaboration, in the dark, prizes were secretly promised to create competition between trainers. The tasks to win these prizes were (in no particular order): 1. To find the end gateway and use it first - 16le + Master Ball, 2. To find an end village - 8le + 32 Ultra Balls, and 3. capturing the dragon egg first - 32le + 1 master ball.
After Cobblemon, Micah came in with a brilliant and refreshing game of Rocket Riders. Thank you Micah for hosting and I am looking forward to more spectacular engaging fun games!
Following this, the next major event was our classic bingo held by Overfears, an ANO (and elderlyâs) classic, but with a twist! It went like this: every team had been given the same bingo sheet, and each team was then teleported to a location where all the items were semi-available. Following that, the teams tried to find bingo items and made rows, columns, and diagonals (this is where basic knowledge comes in). To spice things up, PvP was also enabled, with 5 teams of 4. In order, the teams who won were: Yellow Team, Green Team, Red Team, Pink Team, and Orange Team in last.
Ending spiritâs cabinet with a bang, we got the missing persons case. Now, this event was a huge ride to say the least. Hosted by Overfears, the case was to be solved via a series of clues and solving puzzles. Ranging from easy puzzles of fill in the blanks to hard puzzles involving deciphering codes (had me spiraling in french), groups of 3-4 were created and only 3 groups were chosen to come on top. In first place we had: GebutterteWurst, RawGamingYT, and Shisouhanin 2 hours and 44 mins. Following in second place we had: minty139, kebabdoner, Calluum, and Snazz in 3 hours and 11 mins, and in third place we had: Oxids, Angycathy, DragonZftw, and LittleCrumbs in 3 hours 28 minutes. A huge round of applause to every team who participated, especially the top 3 (donât ask how long it took us to get it).
This wraps up our journey into the spirit waves, a huge round of applause to the spirits crew who dedicated their time to bring us joy within the community and the constant engagement! Spirits is always looking for members to anyone wishing to apply, just navigate your way to the #roles channel, scroll up and react to the confetti emoji to apply!
Brilliance
Sound the alarms and ready the circuits, Titans because Brilliance has done it again! After years of loyal service from our beloved ANO Bot (the original Valor), the team has pulled off one of the biggest technical overhauls in Titan history. The result? A brand-new, fully revamped, and now publicly available version of Valor!
The bot thatâs powered Titans Valor for over four years has officially broken free from its home server and entered the world stage. Introducing the new Valor, the spiritual successor to our internal ANO Bot, rebuilt from the ground up and ready for everyone to use!
Valor Reforged
Originally planned as a light-weight spin-off called Valor Lite, the project quickly evolved into something much, much bigger. With C0rupted leading the charge on the massive slash command overhaul, Valor now boasts an entirely new command framework based around Discordâs official slash commands, along with cleaner backend logic, and smoother performance all around.
Much of the code has been entirely rewritten for optimization and commands are now neatly organized into groups for a more intuitive experience. For instance, /guild activity now replaces the old -activity, keeping everything tidy and consistent. And the best part? Anyone can now add Valor to their own server. Guilds across the community can make use of the same tools, now from the comfort of their own discord servers, whether itâs tracking wars, checking averages, or flexing that beautiful /map output.
Updates, Fixes, and Optimizations
Of course, Brilliance didnât stop at a relaunch. The past few months have been packed with steady improvements and tweaks:
- /warcount range input errors? Fixed!
- Guild icons now load faster (by like⌠0.1 seconds, but weâll take it).
- Guild Raids tracking has been expanded to include level 95+ guilds.
- /map can now handle territories with none claimed â no more empty maps of sadness!
- Backend optimizations ensure smoother deltas when players un-private their accounts, avoiding stat dumps on a single day.
What About ANO Bot and Whatâs Next for Brilliance?
Fear not, Titans! The old Valor (ANO Bot) isnât disappearing, itâs simply staying behind the scenes to power our own internal guild functions. From here on out, all maintenance and updates will focus on the slash command Valor, with the old -commands being retired over time.
Between the public release and all the backend reworks, Brilliance has been busier than ever, but theyâre still not done. Rumor has it that there are already new quality-of-life features in development and a few experimental commands being cooked up.
You didnât hear it from us, but letâs just say Valorâs evolution has only just begunâŚ
And that wraps up another monumental chapter in Brilliance history! From a small guild utility to a fully public powerhouse, Valorâs transformation marks a new era for Titans tech.
Letâs give a massive round of applause to the Brilliance Cabinet for their incredible work. Hereâs to even more innovation, efficiency, and brilliance in the months to come! Similarly to spirits, brilliance is also recruiting. Follow the same process, but choose the wrench instead of the confetti this time!
This wraps up the cabinets folks, next up-
Military Updates âď¸
Woah!! Hold on tight sailors, weâre going through the devastated tides of war. Talkair is back again, and this time we are going straight into the military updates!
First and foremost, huge congratulations to the future zhongli main Supa_Knova, to my wife Hibikies, to my frieren goat Zepart, and the op kinich main Overfears on their well-deserved promotions on Chief! You four deserve this title more than anyone, and on behalf of everyone in ANO, we give you all a huge wave of applause and are eagerly awaiting for your future achievements on this new chapter in ANO.
Letâs also give a huge wave of applause to our newly appointed strategists: Gunplafan123 (bro is smiling through the screen rn), Dreadddddddddddd, KevinBoiii, Xpyouy, SemiBat, l1npengtul, and minty139! A huge congratulations to your passing, and may we see exceptional work from you all!
Moving on, we had the end of Season 26 with Zepart once again in the lead and claiming the âChampion of the Oceanâ title with a whopping 3118 wars, followed by KevinBoiii with 1379 wars in second, and SemiBat with 881 wars in third! Thank you to every warrer in Season 26 that sacrificed their time to keep our oceans safe from foreign invaders.
Following that came the end of Season 27 with Overfears taking the title of âChampion of the Oceanâ with 613 wars, followed by minty139 with 342 wars taking second, and SemiBat once again in third with 228 wars! Although not as much as Season 26, we commend every soldier for their efforts in keeping our territories safe, and a special wave of applause for our top 3 warriors.
With that, our journey through the Military Updates ends once more, and canât wait to see the outcome of Season 28.
Main Stage: An Interview with Calluum
Written by Lamplesspost
Hi everyone! Welcome back to the main stage! In this edition Iâm going to be asking our glorious leader Cal about his journey through ANO, as well as his thoughts on the current state of guilds in Wynncraft. I hope you enjoy and without further ado, let us begin!
What made you decide to join ANO?
I saw a thread and thought it looked like a cool guild.
How were guilds different when you first joined?
Everything was entirely different, guilds were entirely roleplay and prestige driven rather than materialistically like they are these days.
Have the changes been for better or worse?
I would definitely say for worse. Guild changes have forced smaller communities out and pushed an incredibly stale narrative of large guilds dominating the entire map, as well as letting toxic, bigoted guilds thrive.
How did you become the guild leader of ANO?
No one else wanted it when pally was stepping down, so I realised I'd need to step up and take on the mantle.
Whatâs the best thing about being a guild leader?
Being able to help maintain the guild in order to give others the opportunity I had.
Whatâs the hardest thing about being a guild leader?
Dealing with morons in and outside the guild.
What improvements do you think could be made to guilds?
I think thereâs a lot that could be improved. Right now defending is high effort and low/no reward, so I think increasing the reward, making it less effort, or ideally both, would go a long way to improve guilds. Also I would reduce guild member caps and the maximum number of defendable territories to prevent megaclaims; reduce guild xp gain from guild raids to make other grinding methods more viable; and thereâs always the obvious suggestion of simply adding more guild content to keep the guild scene fresh and interesting.
Thatâs all for the main stage this edition! Big thanks to Cal for letting me interview him, and a big thanks to you for reading. Iâll see you all next edition!
